Because there aren’t enough of those out there!

Step 1: Create an app in your Spotify dashboard

1. Open your Spotify developer dashboard https://developer.spotify.com/dashboard

2. Click Create App

   

3. Fill in the following details:

   App name	nutty’s Spotify Widget
   App description	A Spotify widget that’s a widget for Spotify
   Redirect URIs	https://nuttylmao.github.io/spotify-widget/configure
   Which API/SDKs are you planning to use?	Check Web API

   

4. Click Settings

   

5. Click View client secret

   

6. Copy your Client ID and Client secret

   

Step 2: Connect the widget to Spotify

1. Click here https://nuttylmao.github.io/spotify-widget/configure

2. Fill your Client ID and Client Secret from Step 1 and click Authorize

   

3. Click Agree - I promise it’s nothing sus. I promise 👀

   

4. Click Click to copy URL
