Twitch recently fucked us all in the asshole and announced that they will be capping Twitch highlights to 100 hours per account. You have until the 19th of April 2025 to back up all your Twitch highlights. This guide will walk you through how to download them the easiest way possible.

What You Will Need

• Twitch Downloader GUI **https://github.com/lay295/TwitchDownloader/releases**
  • Download the TwitchDownloaderGUI-X.X.X-Windows-x64.zip package (if you use a Mac/Linux, I’m sorry, I don’t know how it works lol)

Step 1: Get a list of all your Twitch Highlights

1. Open this page **https://twitch.justplayer.de/**

2. Type in the username of the streamer you want to back up

3. Click Get Highlights

   

4. Copy all the URLs

   

Step 2: Add your highlights to TwitchDownloader

1. Open TwitchDownloader

2. Click Task Queue

   

3. Click URL List

   

4. Paste all the URLs you copied in Step 1

5. Click Add To Queue

   

6. Select your options
