How To Install

  1. Download and extract the latest version of SMTC Bridge https://github.com/nuttylmao/smtc-bridge/releases

    1. Download the latest version

      For Linux users, third party support is available via MPRIS Bridge https://github.com/TheDoctorTTV/mpris-bridge

    2. Extract and run SMTC-Bridge.exe

      SMTC Bridge should appear in your Windows taskbar

      It is recommended to Start SMTC Bridge with Windows, as Universal Now Playing will not function without it running.

  2. Customize your Universal Now Playing Overlay https://widgets.nutty.gg/now-playing/settings

    By default, Universal Now Playing will automatically attach to the currently focused application.

    To target a specific application, make sure to enter it into the Target Application field.

  3. Add a new browser source in OBS Studio

    1. Click Click to copy URL

    2. Right click and Add > Browser

    3. Paste in the URL you copied literally two steps ago. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, please see a psychiatrist as you may have ADHD.
